POE BUF - mysterious brown envelope
so my wife and son finally got their passport and the brown envelope. she noticed that the address on the brown envelope is wrong.. they put , sprint sweet instead of springsweet ln.. would that cause any problem at the point of entry or her receiving her green card? should we contact the embassy to correct this? thanks

I don't recall what address is on the outside of the brown envelope. Is that her address in Canada, or the one she's going to in the USA?
If it's the one in Canada, and she's already got the envelope in hand, it won't matter at the POE. If it's the one she's going to in the USA, she can make sure they have the correct address when she comes through the POE. Rene |

OK. So when she comes through the POE, she should make sure to mention to the POE Officer that the address on the brown envelope is incorrect, and make sure they have her correct USA mailing address there at the POE. Rene |
