USCIS - Resubmission After Erroneous Rejection for Improper Fees
The below IS NOT from USCIS. It is from AILA, giving guidance to lawyers on how to handle the situation if a petition or application is rejected erroneously by USCIS for improper fees.
Did you file a petition or application prior to July 30? Was it postmarked prior to July 30? Have you received a rejection notice with instructions to refile with the new increased filing fees even though it was postmarked prior to July 30?
