Anchor Text

As much as possible, try to use the keywords listed below when linking to a page on FBI. e.g. Say you wanted to link to the Guide to filing the I-129F for a fiance, you could write something like....

Here you can find a great guide to filing the I-129F for a K1 visa.

Notice how the only word/s linked are k1 visa. This is because k1 visa is one of FBI's keywords/keyphrases. Linking the words 'guide to filing the I-129F' instead would have less effect as it is not one of our keywords/keyphrases.

Keywords & Keyphrases
k1 visa ~ immigration forums ~ k3 visa ~ immigration ~ US immigration ~ immigration forms ~ fiance visa ~ immigrant visa ~ ead ~ adjustment of status ~ green card through marriage ~ cr1 visa ~ i485 ~ I129f ~ I-129f ~ I130 ~ I-130 ~ I683a ~ employment authorization ~ civil surgeon ~ immigration divorce ~ family based immigration ~ naturalization ~ citizenship ~ green card ~ k-1 ~ k1 fiance visa ~ k-3 ~ k2 visa ~ k4 visa

How to use Anchor Text
When putting the link for familybasedimmigration.com on other sites, below is the preferred method on how this should be done. It will help FBI greatly in the search engines listings by using what is called link or anchor text. Not all sites allow HTML coding but try it first. This site doesn't allow html but some others will.

e.g. If replying to a general post about immigrating to the US you could put

a href="http://www.familybasedimmigration.com/forum/">US Immigration /a>

or if it relates to a fiance visa you could put

a href="http://www.familybasedimmigration.com/#k1visa">k1 visa /a>

Note: I have omitted the first and last < in order for the code to show.

If you are not able to use the HTML code, then using url tags that most of you are more familiar with is the next best.

e.g. url]"http://www.familybasedimmigration.com/#k1visa"]k1 visa[/url]

Note: I have omitted the first [ in order for the code to show.

What anchor text will look like when linked as in the examples above

k1 visa

Any assistance with this, would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, there is a thread in the Site News and Discussion forum, where I am more than happy to help you.
